FACTS

Marquis I won multiple championships in "Class A" shows and has been a Region Top 5 Stallion and was twice Egyptian Event Reserve World Champion Stallion. To top it off, many of his offspring (though still young) are making their own mark in the show ring - he has sired Regional Sweepstakes winers so far. In Europe his show-winning daughter Remarqable KA is famous for her spectacular movement yet she displays exquisite type. The future looks bright for this son of famous Makhsous.

PEDIGREE

As already mentioned, Marquis I is a son of Makhsous (Sultann x Nabda), a paternal half brother to famous American show horses, Sakr and Asadd. Sultann was noted for siring horses with lots of motion and charisma – Makhsous is no exception to the rule. Marquis I inherited his sire's substance and correct body and – of course – his commanding presence. The "prettiness" comes from his dam, Antigua Dance, one of the few remaining straight Egyptian daughters of world-renown Ruminaja Bahjat (Shaikh Al Badi x Bint Magidaa). A pedigree which matches beauty and function in the best possible way.
