FACTS

A very special colt was born in Israel in the winter of 1998. His heritage was royal - sired by Imperial Imdal out of the exquisite black mare The Vision HG. He was the first-born of this treasured mare who would soon become very famous for her first-class quality progeny throughout the world. He was named Al Maraam. The beautiful bay with the perfect, fine, white marking on his forehead, lived up to his championship heritage as a young colt, when he travelled to Europe where he was named Nations Cup Reserve Champion, Top Ten at the World Championships in Paris, and later on in 2001 he was a class-winner at the European Championship.
Consistency in a stallion's offspring is a prerequisite of success. With the birth of each Al Maraam foal, this criterion is met. These nearly identical images of their sire have come from mares of different bloodlines and who are of diverse conformational types. Further proof of Al Maraam's prepotency has been recognized through his sons' and daughters' show wins. They include the 2003 Israeli National Champion filly, Latifah AA (x Imperial Kalatifa), and Al Safir AA (x Maar Bilahh), 2002 Champion Foal at the Israeli Nationals. M.D. Talladin (Al Maraam x W. Aalia) was 2003 Israeli National Champion Colt, Al Bilal (x Bahiha) was 2003 was Israeli Reserve National Champion Colt. In fact Al Maraam was the sire of three (out of four) Junior Champions and Reserves at the Israeli Nationals 2003.

PEDIGREE

Al Maraam lives up to his pedigree which predicts class, type, and exotic beauty. Truly a gift left to Ariela Arabians by his illustrious sire, the late Imperial Imdal, he is destined to carry on that legacy. Imperial Imdal (Ansata Imperial x Dalia by Morafic) certainly needs no introduction: He was one of the most acclaimed straight Egyptian stallions ever born in the United States and stood several years at Ariela Arabians. It is no secret that a good sire stems from an exceptional broodmare and this is no exception with Al Maraam: His dam is no other than the ultra-exotic black beauty The Vision HG (Thee Desperado x Belle Staar by The Minstril) whose tail female-line goes back to the Nazeer daughter El Ameera, wo was a full-sister to the well-known "American" foundation horses, Talal and Ansata Bint Zaafarana. She is a mare that amazes all her admires with her sculpted head, big dark eyes, extremely refined teacup muzzle and unique feminine beauty. The Vision's beautiful bay dam Belle Staar was known for her exotic face and beautiful huge eyes and produced many champion horses in the USA, among them the 2003 Supreme Champion Mare of the Egyptian Event, the wonderful white Isabella HG.
Besides Al Maraam, The Vision HG produced his three-quarter brother Al Lahab (by Laheeb), the 2001 European Junior Champion Colt and 2001 All Nations Cup Reserve Junior Champion Colt. Al Lahab is going to breed some of the finest mares in the world at Om Al Arab Stud in the USA, where he is stand on-lease this year. Another of Al Maraam's three-quarter brothers is the blue-black stallion Al Hakim (by Muhajjal), who is owned by Black Smoke Arabians in Germany. Three The Vision daughters are retained by Ariela Arabians to be used in their future breeding program. The treasured blood of such Egyptian luminaries as Morafic, Ansata Ibn Halima, The Egyptian Prince and the legendary white majestic stallion Ruminaja Ali, are prominent in Al Maraam's pedigree, and he hails from the fabled strain of the Saqlawi Jidran which is prized throughout the world.
